I am writing this message on Feb 20th in the hope that it reaches David Baron's children. I am their second cousin Heather Anderson, and I have just found out through another family member of David's passing in January.

Dear Pamela and Andrew, I was deeply saddened to hear of your father's passing. I remember him as such a kind and lovely person. As I write this I am going back in my mind to of the all the wonderful childhood memories, our trips to Blyth in summer school holidays where we always met up through the adult cousins gathering (your mum Ann, my dad Irvine and Michael Freebairn). I'm so happy that you had such a long time with your dad, though I know your mum passed some time ago and that must have very hard for him going on alone. I hope he remained healthy in his life to the last.

My mum, Barbara is still here at almost 84 and I feel very blessed to have her in my life. Your parents always stayed in touch with her after my dad passed away, but she had stopped getting Christmas cards from your dad over the last couple of years and had wondered if all was well.

I hope this message finds you and that you know I am thinking of you all at this time. I am adding my email address in the hope that we can reconnect: rainbowheart1@icloud.com

Much love
